Contracts Manager- Aviation Construction (Anticipated Opening) – Full-time. Turner & Townsend Heery operates in the United States as part of Turner & Townsend, specializing in project and program management for public sector organizations, with aviation and other sectors represented. Turner & Townsend Heery is seeking to engage highly skilled Contracts Management talent in the Los Angeles area. The ideal candidates will have prior contracts administration experience supporting large-scale construction projects. Responsibilities
Support the development and implementation of contracting strategies for major construction projects using a range of privately funded delivery models. Provide specialist contracts and related procurement advice to private sector clients across healthcare construction contracts. Draft Requests for Proposals (RFPs), evaluation scorecards and contracts; support the procurement process for vendors. Develop contract structures for main delivery strategies, including multi-packaging on complex projects with multiple interfaces. Support end-to-end procurement services on major construction and construction-services-related projects. Build positive relationships within the project team and with Client personnel and their key advisors. Manage and update internal contract team trackers, review SOWs and MPA proposal documentation, and assess the work-winning capability of the contract services division. Support delivery of team and wider business targets. SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, adhered to where applicable. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field. 5-7 years of applicable experience in contract administration, preferably in the construction industry. Working knowledge of various forms of contracts for construction project delivery. Experience in working in a multi-contract environment. Experience implementing contracting strategies, including risk identification, quantification, and allocation. Experience in contract development, drafting bespoke contract schedules and clauses, and reviewing contract documents prepared by others. Proven ability to liaise with and coordinate multiple stakeholders to develop robust contract documents. On-site presence and requirements may change depending on our client's needs Compensation and Working Arrangements
The salary range for this full-time role is $90-$165K per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range reflects base salary only, not a total compensation package. Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate’s experience and qualifications.
