Exciting Full-Time Opportunity : Outside Plant (OSP) Construction Manager
We are pleased to offer an outstanding full-time position with our valued client for an Outside Plant (OSP) Construction Manager. This role involves managing Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) construction projects and overseeing all aspects of OSP construction.
Responsibilities
Manage and schedule OSP construction vendors for fiber projects.
Conduct quality assurance / quality control (QA / QC) on work performed by construction contractors.
Coordinate bid walks and review / redline construction drawings.
Collaborate with permitting authorities, municipalities, engineering teams, and planners.
Review and interpret field engineering drawings for underground and overhead fiber make-ready work.
Prepare and manage project closeout packages.
Track project progress and submit comprehensive reports.
Read and manage fiber splice documents.
Interpret OTDR and power meter readings for fiber testing and diagnostics.
Desired Skills and Qualifications
Strong proficiency in MS Excel for tracking and reporting.
Excellent understanding of OSP construction practices and industry standards.
