Overview Sentara Health is hiring a MRI Technologist at the Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge.
This is a Flexi, Rotating shift opportunity.
As an MRI Tech you will perform MRI examinations while maintaining the safety integrity of the MRI operational area for all persons, including staff and patients. You will maintain adequate supply inventory for performing examinations, explain the examination and procedure to patients, and complete departmental documentation.
Required
One (1) year experience in a Rad Tech position, including Radiologic Tech, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography or Ultrasound preferred.
Completion of an MRI school/MRI certificate program OR graduation from a 24‑month program in radiologic technology required in lieu of experience.
Must obtain ARRT MR advanced registry or ARMRIT within 2 years of hire (including mergers and acquisitions).
CNMT or ARDMS or ARRT or ARMRIT required.
Preferred Six (6) months MR experience or completion of an MR didactic program.
