Job Summary
Alaris Health at The Chateau - North & South Pavilion, a 251‑bed skilled nursing facility in Rochelle Park, NJ, is seeking a physical therapist PT to organize and conduct physical therapy programs for the Center to facilitate rehabilitation and direct client participation in selected tasks to restore, reinforce and enhance performance. Responsibilities
evaluating residents, developing appropriate treatment goals and methods and implementing the physical therapy treatment plan designing and fitting adaptive devices and training residents how to use adaptive devices selecting physical agent modalities suited to each individual’s needs, physical capacity, mobility activities and diagnosis instructing residents in the skills and techniques required for participation in mobility activities and evaluating their progress, attitudes and behavior as related to rehabilitative potential conducting training programs and participating in training medical, nursing and other personnel in physical therapy techniques and objectives Requirements
Graduate of a physical therapy curriculum accredited jointly by the Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association and the American Physical Therapy Association and certified by the American Physical Therapy Association per its requirements Strong organizational, time management and communication skills Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of New Jersey Benefits
