Sr. Customer Quality Engineer – Acute Care & Monitoring OEM Responsibilities

Partner with the Acute Care & Monitoring OEM customers and Strategic Alliance Partners to manage a variety of quality activities related to their integration and ongoing quality needs. Collaborate with the R&D group on integration acceptance testing and root cause investigations. Coordinate with manufacturing sites to ensure quality controls are in place and communicate quality issues to customers while driving resolution and continuous improvement. Respond to ongoing customer requests and inquiries; work with Marketing to address customer quality needs. Review test reports supporting Strategic Alliance customers integration acceptance testing. Review non-product tool validation protocols and reports: assist with testing strategies and report formats, complete risk analysis, understand hardware and software elements. Handle Strategic Alliance Partner complaints and requests for Corrective Actions (SCARs): drive root cause investigations, CAPAs, CDPs; ensure corrective measures meet reliability standards and comply with requirements; review complaint trends and provide input to CQXM; track SCARs and SCAR metrics; specify inspection and testing mechanisms for non-conforming material; perform statistical analysis to assess costs and responsibilities. Drive continuous improvement of processes, templates, and documents. Respond to Quality-related questions from customers via web portal or email; provide information on Materials of Concern, Certificate of Conformance, and technical data to support regulatory submissions. Support Marketing with the Product Change Notification (PCN) process and customer communication plans. Assist Regulatory Affairs and Legal with quality-related information and input on customer agreements (quality and notification agreements). Oversee ISO compliance and testing related to OEM products: raise awareness of ISO updates, drive updates to test reports, and provide input to R&D testing for OEM components. Bachelor’s degree required Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience Nice to Have

Project management experience or training Experience working with customers Knowledge of Six Sigma or DRM Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills Ability to work effectively independently, within teams, and across functions Physical Job Requirements

Salary ranges for U.S. locations (excl. PR): USD 96,800.00 - 145,200.00. This position is eligible for the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP). Base salary ranges apply across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and some locations in California and may vary by experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains to candidates hired within the United States.
