We are seeking a
Senior PMO Project Manager
to lead and oversee complex, cross-functional product development initiatives in the RV industry. This role will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards, while mentoring and guiding junior PMs. The Senior PMO will work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to execute stage-gate development programs and continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities
Lead
high-impact vehicle development projects , managing scope, schedule, budget, and risk across all phases of the
stage-gate process
(concept → launch → post-launch). Mentor and guide
Junior PMs , delegating tasks and ensuring proper project execution and reporting. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, manufacturing, quality, purchasing, and design) to drive projects to completion. Implement and standardize
PMO processes, stage-gate tools, KPI tracking, and reporting
for all projects. Conduct
executive-level project reporting , milestone tracking, and risk mitigation planning. Ensure projects comply with
RV-specific standards
(e.g., FMVSS, RVIA) and support prototype builds, pilot production, and launch readiness. Identify opportunities for
process improvements , resource optimization, and enhanced product quality. Lead initiatives for
Lean, 5S, and visual management
across project teams to enhance operational efficiency. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in
Engineering, Business, or related field ; PMP certification preferred. 7+ years
of progressive project management experience in
RV, automotive, or heavy truck industries . Proven success managing projects in a
stage-gate product development framework . Strong knowledge of
vehicle systems, manufacturing processes, and regulatory requirements . Experience leading teams and mentoring
junior PMs or project coordinators . Excellent
communication, leadership, and organizational skills . Proficiency in project management tools (e.g.,
MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira ). Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Seniority level
