Position Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team in West Virginia. The BCBA will be responsible for conducting functional behavior assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, providing direct supervision to behavior technicians, and supporting clients and families in achieving meaningful outcomes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, clinical expertise, and a passion for improving the quality of life for individuals with developmental, behavioral, or mental health needs. In addition, the BCBA will oversee and manage a team of two Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), ensuring quality service delivery and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and skills assessments.
Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
Provide ongoing supervision, training, and mentorship to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other support staff.
Collect, analyze, and interpret data to guide treatment decisions and ensure program effectiveness.
Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and interdisciplinary team members to promote consistency and generalization of skills.
Maintain compliance with state, federal, and insurance regulations, as well as professional and ethical standards set by the BACB.
Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and continuing education opportunities.
Document services and progress in a timely and accurate manner.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field.
Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing with the BACB.
Eligibility for licensure as a behavior analyst in the state of West Virginia.
Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder, developmental disabilities, or behavioral challenges preferred.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Work Environment This position will require travel to schools, homes, or community-based settings throughout Kanawha County.
Compensation Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
