We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Satellite Flight Software Developer to join our team in Englewood, CO. Technical leadership of small development teams, mentoring junior engineers on software development and delivery of software products. Performing Cost Account Management (CAM) and subcontractor management. Execute technical objectives within the software development life cycle (Requirements, Design, Implementation, Test). Ensure that General Atomics processes are properly followed. Collaborate with the team on software solutions to support planned product delivery. REQUIRED: Typically requires a bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD in computer science, information systems, or a related discipline with progressive software development experience; nine or more years with a bachelor’s, seven or more years with a master’s, or four or more years with a PhD. Equivalent experience may substitute for education. Demonstrated experience in Cost Account Management (CAM). Strong proficiency in C/C++ and Python. Hands-on experience with embedded software development and real-time applications (e.g., real-time Linux or VxWorks). Familiarity with the software development life cycle (Requirements, Design, Implementation, Test). Knowledge of the Agile SCRUM development process. Expertise working within a Linux development environment. DESIRED: Experience with NASA core Flight System (cFS) framework is preferred. Experience in cloud-based software development is desirable. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, including DevOps/DevSecOps, is desirable. Proficiency with Atlassian tools (e.g., JIRA, Bitbucket, Bamboo) is an asset. Experience with Docker containers is advantageous. Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance is required; active and current Top-Secret clearance is desired. Salary:
$116,480 - $208,505
