is looking for a veterinarian to join our family-oriented practice. We are a well-established, full-service animal hospital with a newly renovated facility that provides comprehensive care to dogs and cats. Our support staff is extremely skilled and dedicated to the highest level of pet care and client service. This is a great opportunity for new grads looking for quality mentorship as well as experienced veterinarians. Overview Caroline Animal Hospital is a family-oriented practice serving our community for over 30 years. Our location offers a blend of rural charm and accessibility, just 30 minutes north of Richmond, with access to city amenities while enjoying a tight-knit community. The area supports an active, outdoor lifestyle with opportunities for hiking, camping, and exploring Virginia’s natural landscapes. We see and manage a wide variety of cases, making each day interesting and rewarding. Our team of doctors collaborates to practice high-quality, affordable medicine with a strong community focus. We have a fantastic support team of well-trained, efficient individuals and prioritize a healthy work-life balance for all our staff. Responsibilities Join a well-established practice serving dogs and cats as part of a collaborative veterinary team See and manage a wide variety of cases with a focus on high-quality, affordable medicine and strong client service Collaborate with doctors to deliver comprehensive medical care Schedule Full or part-time positions available with a flexible 4-day schedule and no weekends Our doctors usually have 3 appointment days and 1 surgery day per week Surgery and dentistry experience or interest is a plus Mentorship to new grads is available Benefits Generous salary commensurate with experience $75k sign-on bonus Medical benefits (including medical, dental, and vision) CE allowance and 5 days CE time off Professional dues and liability coverage 401(k) Vacation time off Employee assistance program (EAP) Growth opportunities Where We Are Milford is nestled in a quiet community that provides a respite from city life while offering shopping, dining, hiking, water sports, historical exploration, vineyards, and other amenities within driving distance.
