Pay Range Base: $155,000 – $185,000 per year. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience—talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Location Floating for clinics in Los Angeles (ZIPs 90037, 90003, 90007, 90008, 90033, 90043) or in Compton (90221, 90222).

Qualifications / Licensure

NP Degree

Within scope of community practice

Bilingual English/Spanish

Proficient Microsoft Office and Excel (familiarity with medical terminology)

EHR – Electronic Health Record (Preferred)

PMS – Practice Management System (Preferred)

Knowledge of current principles, methods and procedures for medical evaluation, diagnosis and treatment in area of expertise

Ability to convey a warm, caring attitude for patients while representing SJCH

CA Medical License, DEA Certificate

BLS and PALS certified

Board certified or Board‑eligible within one year of residency training

Current CPR Card

Maintain individual certifications as required by job function or law

Responsibilities

Review patient files/records, including allergies, problems, medications and immunization status.

Elicit and record medical history.

Perform physical examinations and document findings.

Order and execute diagnostic tests and imaging.

Analyze test results to diagnose conditions.

Prescribe and administer treatments, including medication and vaccinations.

Discuss potential side effects and immunization benefits with patients.

Provide prenatal, postnatal, and gynecological care, including ongoing training in OB/Gyn procedures.

Educate patients on diet, hygiene, and disease prevention.

Refer patients to specialists when necessary.

Document visits, including history, physical, diagnoses, and plans of action.

Follow up with patients regarding progress on high‑risk or emergency cases.

Provide family planning services in compliance with Title X regulations.

Attend annual family planning seminars as required.

Coordinate care efficiently within the system of care.

Offer basic mental health assessment and treatment for non‑emergent conditions.

Practice safety, infection control, and environmental measures.

Assist with triage services during disaster protocols.

Participate in proctoring of new hires and newly graduated providers.

Maintain current knowledge‑base and licensure.

Providers also schedule their appointments to ensure coverage, working evenings and at least two Saturdays a month, with additional on‑call requirements as assigned.
