Overview
IVI RMA GLOBAL is looking for a Part-Time Phlebotomist for our Eatontown location. Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 5:30am–10:30am and Wednesday from 5:30am–1:30pm with rotating weekends. Base pay range: $20.00/hr - $24.00/hr. Essential Functions and Accountabilities
Properly identifies patients. Performs and explains the process of venipuncture and/or other specimen collection as required. Conducts blood draws, labeling specimens, and centrifuging specimens. Stores and transports specimen samples according to procedures to maintain integrity of the specimen. Understands and complies with OSHA and DEP regulations. Maintains a clean and stocked phlebotomy area. Reassures patients and provides comfort to ease anxieties. Academic Training
Completion of a Phlebotomy Program – highly preferred (required in CA, WA, TX). Studies level: Certification Studies area: Phlebotomy Program Position Requirements / Experience
3+ years' recent work performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting – required Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings Technical Skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Word and Outlook – required Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience – required Benefits
