Crisis Counselor (LSW, LPC, MFT) Requirements
Knowledge and skills at a level normally acquired through the completion of master’s degree in human services or behavioral healthcare field with one (1) year counseling experience in the field of chemical dependency, mental health or adolescent treatment
preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in human service or behavioral healthcare field with two (2) years' experience in the field of chemical dependency, mental health or adolescent treatment
required.
Valid State of Ohio LPC, LPCC, LSW, LISW, MFT, IMFT with two (2) years of paid full-time experience in the field of behavioral health
required.
Two weekday shifts 5 pm - 12 am + 2 weekends a month!

The Crisis Counselor will be responsible for assisting individuals who walk in to extended crisis hours. The Counselor would complete a crisis assessment or diagnostic assessment and make recommendations for ongoing treatment. The Counselor would develop a safety plan or treatment plan for youth and adults seeking services and facilitate connecting individuals to outpatient or inpatient treatment.
