About the Role The Senior Designer is responsible for the creation of designs from brief through to final artwork required to service the Marketing Team. They will have a passionate, proactive approach to producing new and exciting creative for the Bold Portfolio through our Internal Creative Agency.
Key Responsibilities
Ensuring that all Design work is completed to the highest standard
Design all brand advertising and communications including print and digital assets, packaging, event communications, venue development, brochures
Collaborate with the creative team to create high quality creative assets that are tailored for channels or customer segments and deliver the required brand tone and message
Be meticulous with setting up of all artwork in line with specs provided, style guides, brand guidelines
Oversee brand consistency throughout final artwork applications
Ensure that brand Style Guide remains up to date
Deliver on projects within timeframes ensuring quality and cost control
Work at an advanced level with software applications: CS Adobe In-Design, Illustrator, Photoshop and Microsoft Office
Constantly strive to present best solutions for briefs and proactively seek solutions with a focus on branded items, event communications etc.
Become an expert in brand positioning, brand platforms, brand tone and visual identity
Amplify existing creative platforms to execute and extend campaigns across channels
Partner with the creative team to generate new ideas in line with overarching marketing and campaign strategy
Evaluate, clarify and respond to briefs
Contribute to a culture of creativity within the internal agency team
Ensure quality control on projects prior to being sent to production
Maintain technical scope in line with industry standards
Provide support and mentoring to more junior members of the design team
Ensure processes are efficient and best practice is adhered to by the creative team and shared with our markets
Custodian of brand tone and visual identity
Support Lead Designer in embedding a culture of creativity within the IHA and broader marketing teams
Inspire excellence through the agency and openly share technical knowledge
Prioritise workload to ensure balance and all deadlines met
Adheres to processes and project management software implemented with the team to deliver on time, ensure quality and respects SLA's
About you
5+ years relevant design experience
Demonstrated visual design experience through a digital portfolio
Demonstrated understanding of the creative and production process and ability to collaborate
Highly creative in developing innovative designs, layouts and concepts
Demonstrate an understanding of the target customer segments and the brand visual identity
Proficiency with relevant design tools such as Adobe CS is essential
Experience creating dynamic content and/or HTML5 advantageous
Knowledge and interest in wine industry
You like hanging out and being part of a team
Preference given to candidates residing in the Bay Area with the ability to work out of the Napa office as required
Experience in the alcohol beverage industry preferred

Pay Transparency Disclosure: The base pay range offered for this position is $100,000-$117,000 for candidates in the Bay Area and $82,000-$93,000 for candidates in Charlotte. These figures represent what we reasonably expect to pay for this position, but the actual compensation offered will depend upon numerous job-related factors, including but not limited to candidate qualifications, skills, experience, education, location, and alignment with market data. Treasury reserves the right to modify the range in the future.
