Work Shift: Day, 8 hours
Job Description This position works under general supervision, is responsible for all shifts and campuses, may be required to remain on campus immediately before, during and after regulatory visits and/or disasters. This position is part of the Management/Coordinator team.
Assists the modality Operations Manager is leading the enterprise teams of Diagnostic and CT.
Collaborates with radiologists, physicians, staff, and managers to ensure safe patient care and access to clinical services.
Working in conjunction with the Clinical Manager and modality Charge Techs, oversees adding new Clinical Research exams and procedures.
Oversees staff orientation, safety, and procedural training, including educational development and internship training.
Coordinates the maintenance of all Imaging and support equipment, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Reviews quality assurance tests on all radiology equipment in coordination with QC technologists.
Evaluates and coordinates daily staffing needs, maintaining operational safety, efficiency, and quality goals.
Assists Operations Manager with payroll (eTime)
Attends Radiology leadership meetings and contribute to strategic planning.
Actively participates in team projects, including implementing new technology and process improvements.
Communicates information promptly to staff and leaders.
May perform CT, radiographic, and fluoroscopic procedures as needed, ensuring high-quality patient care.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Three years of experience as a registered CT/radiologic technologist required.
Siemens experience preferred.
Leadership experience preferred but not required.
Has excellent communication skills, a diversified, resourceful, multi-talented person; able to conceive, formulate, initiate, and implement strategies designed to enhance the department’s overall quality of service.
Has strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
Has experience in developing, writing, and administering processes, policies, and procedures, including training Imaging staff.
Has strong knowledge of computer software applications such as PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, SmartSheet, etc.
Experience working on team projects such as implementing new technology and process improvements.
Effective physician and employee relationship skills.
Knowledgeable in TJC, CMS, and regulatory requirements.
Demonstrated analytical skills.
License/Certification/Registration Requirements
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiography and CT - ARRT(R)(CT)
Current California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) Certificate
Current California Fluoroscopy Certificate
Basic Lifesaving Certification (BLS) - American Heart Association
Maintain Registered Technologist status with required CMEs
Salary Range $70.91 - $106.37 USD Hourly
Physical Requirements Sentecary Work - Duties performed mostly while sitting; walking and standing at times. Occasionally lift or carry up to 10 lbs. Uses hands and fingers.
