This position is with our Adhesive Technologies business unit – where we empower our people to transform industries and provide our customers with a competitive advantage through adhesives, sealants and functional coatings.

What you’ll do

You provide expert technical guidance to clients, understanding their needs and recommending solutions primarily for fenestrations, sidewall, and roofing applications.

You support customers with lab‑based and customer‑facing projects, including performance validation, data generation, and designing test methods for new applications.

You work with cross‑functional colleagues in sales, product development, marketing, and others to solve technical issues for our customers.

You conduct thorough product testing and evaluations, ensuring that solutions meet quality standards and client specifications.

You inform our customers on the performance capabilities of Henkel’s products and services via technical help, reports, and presentations.

You create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including manuals and guidelines for product installation and usage.

You provide technical help to clients, addressing and resolving issues related to product implementation, functionality, or performance.

You provide expert training programs to our sales and distribution partners and to ensure new products and applications are selected and used whenever appropriate.

Review plan details and specifications for related projects with architects, general contractors, installers and other project managers. Provide appropriate Henkel product installation guidelines and guidance.

Work with field sales to oversee project management protocol.

Field technical calls regarding Henkel products and or system applications for envelope design, building codes, product performance, and building science related inquiries.

Maintain and deliver Henkel’s training courses (including AIA LUs and the OSI Certified programs) to architects, trade and manufacturing partners, and installers at Henkel facilities and or offsite locations.

Attend building science, building code and various industry association related conferences and seminars.

Represent Henkel on various steering committees at chosen industry associations.

Communicate relevant industry and competitive news to management.

What makes you a good fit

Education – Bachelor’s degree required, Architecture or Structural Engineering (preferred)

Experience — 7‑9 years of architectural/structural performance and design with focus on residential roof systems (preferred)

Travel requirements - 40‑50%

Special skills

Experience training and educating small to large groups

Proficiency with AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

Communication, Management, Decision‑Making Skills

In‑depth knowledge of relevant technologies, applications, and products.

Ability to build relationships with professionals of all organizational levels.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey technical information clearly to diverse audiences.

Analytical and problem‑solving skills to identify and address technical issues effectively.

Customer‑centric approach with the ability to understand and meet client needs.

The salary for this role is $85,000.00 – $100,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range may also be modified in the future.
