Korry Electronics is seeking an
Electrical Engineer
to design and certify advanced cockpit panels for commercial and military aircraft. The role focuses on leading complex projects, solving technical challenges, and contributing across the product lifecycle.
What You Will Do Primary Responsibilities:
Spearhead the development of complex, high-reliability electronic hardware for aerospace and defense applications.
Translate high‑level requirements into architectural concepts and associated low‑level requirements.
Document and present your design performance, and acceptance criteria in design reviews.
Become a trusted technical expert, solving complex hardware problems through root cause analysis and impact assessment.
Mentor and provide guidance to a team of skilled engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
Engage in special projects that push the boundaries of airborne electronics.
Perform hands‑on troubleshooting and design verification of products.
Preferred Education & Experience
B.S. in Electrical Engineering or M.S. in Engineering fields or Science.
5+ years of experience.
Experience with aerospace or other industries with highly regulated development processes.
Preferred Skills and Abilities
Strong foundation in digital and analog circuit design, analysis, power conversion, and PCB layout.
Familiarity with CAN, ARINC, and other common communication protocols; ability to program and debug hardware/software interfaces.
Knowledge of aerospace standards (DO‑160, DO‑254, MIL‑STD‑704/461) is a strong plus.
Innate ability to troubleshoot and solve complex electrical problems with a creative and analytical mindset.
Proficiency in electronic design and schematic tools (e.g., ePADS, Xpedition, PSpice) and a deep understanding of circuit design and analysis.
Solid understanding of EMI mitigation design concepts.
Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management tool.
Strong communication skill and collaborative mindset.
Physical Requirements
Frequent use of personal computers, database and digital platforms, and other office productivity machinery, such as copy machines and computer printers.
Frequently uses hands, fingers, and arms to reach, handle, touch or feel equipment, materials, and computer.
The person in this position needs to frequently move inside the office.
Frequent close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
Salary Range Please note the typical hiring range is $127,500 - $172,500 annually. Job offers within the range are based on significant job qualifications and pay equity.
