Leading, mentoring, and developing a payroll and HR systems team, fostering operational excellence and high performance. Managing relationships with HR/payroll vendors, employer-of-record (EOR) partners, and in-country service vendors to ensure service quality, compliance, and alignment with business objectives. Promoting adoption of best practices, continuous improvement, and professional development within the team. Maintaining, optimizing, and scaling HRIS and payroll systems to meet organizational needs. Leading system integrations, including M&A employee data migrations, multi-system interfaces, and process harmonization. Required Qualifications
Experience: 8+ years of progressive SAAS HRIS (Workday preferred), payroll, and HR systems leadership experience, ideally in both a public and private company setting. Skills:
Demonstrated experience managing multi-state and global payroll exposure. Proven experience managing HR/payroll vendors and leading system integrations, including M&A-related employee transitions. Excel Proficient (VLOOKUPs, If statements, conditional formatting, etc.). Ability to prioritize tasks based on timelines and multitask as needed; experience with project management tools (e.g. Asana).
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Information Technology, Finance, or related field. Experience is acceptable in lieu of degree. CPP, SHRM-CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR, PMP certifications preferred.
Schedule / in-office requirements:
Hybrid schedule: 3 days in office at our Waco, Texas or our Irving, Texas headquarters and 2 days remote.
