Our client, a well‑established multi‑discipline engineering firm in the Southeast, is seeking a
Project Manager / Project Engineer
to join their growing water resources practice in North Charleston. This hands‑on role blends technical project delivery with team leadership and client engagement.
Base pay range: $100,000.00/yr - $180,000.00/yr
What You’ll Do:
Lead stormwater and water resources projects: master planning, drainage/stormwater design, H&H modeling, permitting, and construction documentation.
Prepare plans, specifications, cost estimates, and reports.
Coordinate with clients, contractors, agencies, and internal teams.
Mentor junior engineers and manage project schedules and budgets.
Support innovative stormwater BMP design, erosion/sediment control, and FEMA LOMC applications.
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering (ABET‑accredited preferred)
PE license required (GA or SC preferred)
10+ years in water resources engineering
Experience with stormwater management, green infrastructure, H&H modeling
Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcMap, and hydrology/hydraulic software (HEC‑RAS, HEC‑HMS)
Strong communication, organization, and client management skills
Nice to Have:
Experience in SC & GA projects
Advanced H&H software knowledge
