Base pay range $70,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr
Overview We are looking for a WMS System Implementation Specialist. This candidate will play a critical role in onboarding new eCommerce customers, including those using platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, and other marketplaces. This individual will ensure that customer integrations are set up accurately, orders flow smoothly into our warehouse management system (WMS), and clients receive the training and support they need to succeed.
Responsibilities
Lead the implementation of WMS solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Collaborate with IT and operations teams to define system requirements and specifications.
Conduct thorough testing of the WMS to ensure it meets design specifications.
Provide training and documentation to end-users, facilitating smooth adoption of the system.
Monitor system performance post-implementation and identify areas for improvement.
Act as the primary point of contact for user issues and inquiries regarding the WMS.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in warehouse management technologies.
Act as the primary point of contact for new eCommerce clients during the WMS onboarding process.
Configure, test, and troubleshoot integrations between customer eCommerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce, etc.) and our WMS.
Collaborate with internal warehouse, IT, and operations teams to ensure accurate setup and smooth order fulfillment.
Provide client training on system functionality, reporting tools, and operational best practices.
Develop and maintain onboarding documentation, processes, and client records.
Identify system or integration issues and elevate to technical teams as needed.
Continuously improve onboarding workflows to enhance efficiency and client experience.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in WMS implementation or support roles.
Demonstrated understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
2+ years of experience with WMS, OMS, ERP, or related system implementation/onboarding.
Hands‑on experience with Shopify or other eCommerce platforms.
Familiarity with APIs, EDI, and system integrations is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts in customer‑friendly terms.
Detail‑oriented, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
Preferred Requirements
Master's degree in a related field.
Certification in project management (e.g., PMP).
Experience with specific WMS platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan.
Familiarity with RFID and barcode scanning technologies.
Previous experience in user acceptance testing (UAT).
