Design prototypes and tools supporting Disney Entertainment & ESPN Technology Research and identify approaches and architectures to solve interesting and unique problems facing Disney’s businesses Identify elegant solutions to complex and unique problems Basic Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field 5+ years of experience in technical fields Hands-on experience with machine learning methods and techniques Experience building and maintaining production-grade software Experience with effective API integration and design Demonstrated ownership and responsibility of the development, implementation, and release of the software lifecycle Curiosity and a desire to learn Excellent technical communication skills and attention to detail Preferred Qualifications

Experience with audio/video processing and analysis Demonstrated expertise in data and root-cause analysis Hands-on experience with AWS services like Kinesis, MSF, Dynamo, ElastiCache, Lambda, S3, ECS Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform and CloudFormation Experience with monitoring tools like Cloudwatch and Datadog Knowledge of data products and platforms, including Spark, Parquet, Athena, Databricks Compensation and Location

The hiring range for this position in Bristol is $136,100 - $182,400 per year, in Los Angeles is $136,100 - $182,400, and in New York and Seattle is $142,600-$191,100 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
