As a CBRE Laboratory Instrument Services Technician, you will calibrate, maintain, and complete the minor repairs of scientific instrumentation. This job is part of the Critical and Technical Services function, responsible for technical maintenance services in critical client environments. What You’ll Do
Take apart, examine, clean, fix, calibrate, check, and take care of equipment, systems, and controls. Operate test equipment, including multimeters and galvanometers. Coordinate the removal of equipment needing basic repairs during scheduled maintenance periods. Record and report abnormal functions or out-of-tolerance conditions of equipment. Locate part sources and estimate costs. Document daily records of inspections, maintenance activity, repairs, and other work performed. Coordinate with external contractors on repairs covered by maintenance agreements. Assist with the development of equipment, maintenance, and calibration procedures. Use existing procedures to tackle straightforward problems with limited discretion. Deliver outputs by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance. What You’ll Need
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience; 1-2 years of related experience, or trade school diploma with relevant experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Must have any required license or certification by law. Physical ability to stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs/ladders, and lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more. Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in applying work. Effective communication skills to exchange straightforward information. Solid understanding of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.). Basic math skills, including simple calculations such as percentages, discounts, and markups. Benefits and Disclaimers

Salary range: minimum $55,000 to maximum $79,000 per year, with discretionary bonus eligibility based on CBRE’s benefit program.
