to join our
Emerging Capabilities (EC) Team . This team is at the
forefront of invention , working with advanced materials, pioneering ideas, and new technologies to develop future product lines that will transform industries worldwide. You will leverage your mechanical engineering expertise to
de-risk novel technologies , validate material properties, and design innovative solutions that set new market standards. Laitram Corporation is a

Responsibilities Innovate : Develop new materials and conveyance technologies through rigorous testing, design, and manufacturing trials. Validate : Lead mechanical testing, failure analysis, and iterative improvements to de-risk new technology. Design : Create test methods and product concepts in SolidWorks or Creo, leveraging new material capabilities. Collaborate : Gather requirements and align with engineering peers across global teams. Execute : Coordinate manufacturing processes including injection molding, extrusion, and machining. Engage : Travel (
Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s a plus) 10 plus years engineering experience in new product development, plastics, conveyor systems, part/system design, and validation/testing Self-managed, creative problem-solver with high quality standards and urgency in execution Excellent communication skills to simplify technical concepts across diverse teams Willingness to travel (
