JOB TITLE: Manager, Transformation

Reports to: Sr Director, Transformation

Job Summary:

Manager, TMO – provides hands‑on support to the Senior Director of Transformation, VP of Transformation, VP of Planning, and VP of GTM. Specific responsibilities include oversight and cross‑functional implementation of transition workstreams, support on required tool development, i.e., digital product creation tools (e.g., DAM, PLM) and other transformation workstreams and special projects (e.g., global reporting, AI & GenAI Acceleration, etc.) depending on TMO priorities.

How You Will Make a Difference

Workstream Coordination

– Transition Workstreams

Identify risks and interdependencies between multiple transformation workstreams; assess type of risk and develop mitigation strategies with Senior Director

Oversee tracking and execution of transition workstreams, ensuring smooth handover to business‑as‑usual (e.g., Stores, Brand, Marketing)

Conduct ongoing monitoring and tracking of milestone completion with initiative owners

Report progress on milestones and provide weekly updates to the Senior Director

Facilitate regular meeting check‑ins and email updates with sponsors as per agreed cadence

Collaborate with VF Finance and workstream leads to ensure value realization is on track

Coordinate risk assessments and elevate execution challenges as needed

Workstream Execution

– e.g., go‑to‑market support, integrated business planning, marketing effectiveness, AI & GenAI Acceleration

Work with business teams across functions, brands, regions to ensure creation and adoption of new tools / processes core to the successful business and planning transformation—e.g., support in workshops, gather feedback from users, iterate on templates, and track implementation progress

Support rollout of new tools and systems on an ad‑hoc basis by troubleshooting, identifying gaps in usability/functionality, creating standardized templates, identifying business needs, etc.

Project manage implementation, incl. meeting and materials preparation, communication on progress to leadership, identification and addressing of roadblocks together with the Sr Director of Transformation

Support the preparation of materials to present progress and updates to the global leadership team

Create training materials and support VF Academies to enable change management

Special Projects

– e.g., Digital Product Creation, Global Reporting, etc.

Oversee and provide ad‑hoc support to build specific tools related to digital transformation—e.g., PLM, DAM, and Materials Toolkit

Depending on project assigned, coordinate with cross‑functional teams (IT, Digital, Marketing, Finance) to ensure alignment on digital enablement initiatives.

Assist in the development and update of critical reporting dashboards, ensuring alignment with commercial teams

Qualifications & Experience

Degree in related field preferred; Master’s degree preferred

Minimum 5 years of related experience in consumer‑centric, fast‑moving companies.

Experience driving strategic and operational activities for a transformation office or PMO team within a global organization

Preferred: Experience driving cost or digital programs, ideally in the apparel/footwear/fashion industry

Preferred: experience in planning, merchandising and/or buying

Hiring Range $112,320.00 USD - $140,400.00 USD annually

Incentive Potential This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential. Specific details of the additional compensation eligibility for this position will be provided during the recruiting and interview process.
