Overview
The delivery leader is accountable and responsible for driving vertical growth, P&L, and operational metrics jointly with the VBUs and sales leader while maintaining existing client relationships to achieve planned growth and delivery targets.
Responsibilities
Bring insurance industry knowledge, best practices, innovation, and cutting-edge technology to our clients in the BFSI industry to deliver business value.
Work with leading BFSI clients to maximize value to the client in the business.
Define and implement strategy programs in business transformation, optimize go-to-market channels, design products/services, increase customer lifetime value, and optimize marketing spend.
Experience in pricing and new product/service design: use analytics to design new products and services in the banking and financial services space.
Create, strategize, and sign off on P&L budgets with Sub-vertical leaders, handling accounts (P&L) across various GEOs.
Ensure the vertical achieves MTD/YTD targets: Revenue, EBITDA, operational metrics (EE and EN) and SG&A costs.
Conduct monthly reviews on revenue margin, pipeline, and utilization.
Identify key parameters for improvement to drive vertical growth and margins.
Develop strategies and deliver best-in-class service to clients and ensure renewals of existing partnerships (primary responsibility for EE - Renewals and Extensions).
Identify opportunities for cross-sell within existing accounts and co-own, support, and propose new domain offerings/cross-sell to existing clients.
Build industry partnerships and develop new offerings/solutions for the vertical.
Support Sales and Delivery teams in proposal/solution development and onsite presales and customer presentations.
Share customer insights with practice and sales teams to align offering development with customer requirements.
Ensure vertical operating metrics align with targets.
Performance Management: monitor overall vertical employee performance and periodically review the operating plan and utilization.
Training & Knowledge management: publish white-papers/articles; manage vertical P&L and all aligned direct vertical costs.
EE and Change Requests target achievement and cross-sell.
Process: manage cost per employee, sub-contracting costs, attrition rate for accounts in the vertical, quality of delivery (SLAs, KPIs), and organizational structure.
Determine delivery account structure for all accounts under the vertical and oversee overall delivery of the vertical.
Ensure smooth operations delivery aligned with agreed targets; govern and liaise with VBU delivery leaders for high-quality, on-time project delivery.
Drive quality initiatives as directed by central teams and own SG&A improvement projects for the vertical.
Responsible for issue resolution in the vertical and identify PMO involvement in critical situations.
Drive change management with agility based on business needs; proven record of initiating and delivering large programs in FPP/T&M models.
Excellence in People Management with the ability to lead and mentor the team; cascade vertical goals to practice and account delivery teams.
Manage performance, rewards, careers, and appraisals for teams; own operating plans and identify resourcing and staffing requirements with RMG; bench management; identify capability gaps and build capability for program & project management.
Identify and sign off training needs (internal/external) as required.
