Job Summary This position provides opportunity to work directly on funds as well as the firm’s balance sheet. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong communication and organizational skills, and have the ability to prioritize and complete projects on a timely basis. The candidate must demonstrate a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently and proactively to identify and resolve issues. Prior credit experience is preferred, as is familiarity with partnership accounting.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Closing books of credit funds monthly and/or quarterly in SS&C Geneva as shadow books for the administrator’s official books and records.

Daily finance reporting such as performance, valuation, exposures, attribution and counterparty exposure.

Ad hoc administrative tasks: Coordinate with others internally and externally to provide various types of information/documentation such as organizational structure information, asset positions data, etc.

Lender reporting: Draft portfolio reporting as required by NGC credit facility agreements. This reporting includes current positions data along with attributes of the underlying obligors that are used to calculate the facility borrowing base and other facility metrics.

Quarterly draft GAAP financial statements for certain legal entities within NGC to be delivered to NGC lenders according to prescribed due dates.

Annual audited financial statements and related work:

Coordinate with administrators with respect to consolidated financial statements.

Provide all necessary supporting documentation in addition to responding to any outstanding items communicated by the audit team.

Working with Tax Director to coordinate quarterly tax estimates, annual tax work, and other ad-hoc tax structuring projects.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

S. degree in Accounting; CPA license (or on path).

Public accounting/industry experience in the alternative asset management space.

Credit/Fixed Income asset experience.

Knowledge and experience with investment partnership accounting.

Strong communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.

Detail-oriented, great team player, hard-working, self-motivated, confident, organized and analytical.

Ability to work with minimal day-to-day supervision and demonstrate a strong work ethic.

Ability to multi-task and prioritize.

Experience with SS&C Geneva and Recon systems a plus.

The compensation for this position falls within Nassau’s salary band E: $100,000-$170,000.
