Overview The Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) Team is seeking a Senior Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Lab Test Engineer to join our team in Berkeley, MO. The selected candidate will be responsible for box and aircraft level testing to characterize and validate performance of designs to requirements for various communication, sensor, electronic warfare, and other electromagnetic systems and components.
Position Responsibilities
Planning and execution of testing, including the writing of test procedures, data collection, report generation, and program status presentations
Support products throughout their lifecycle by gathering project status data and utilizing project management best practices to manage multiple projects through varying stages of completion
Gather information to support proposals and new business development efforts
Apply engineering knowledge to continuously improve processes and tools
Work under consultative guidance with other senior engineering staff
Basic Qualifications (Required)
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited program in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
10+ years of experience in electrical engineering
Experience with operation of electrical test equipment such as digitizing oscilloscopes, spectrum and network analyzers, EMI receivers, low noise amplifiers, signal generators, multimeters, etc.
Willing and able to travel 10% of the time domestically and internationally
Preferred Qualifications (Desired)
Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). A security clearance active in the past 24 months is considered active.
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or electrical engineering technology
Experience with EMI/EMC analysis and testing
Experience with MIL-STD-461 lab and/or MIL-STD-464 aircraft qualification testing
Experience with Shielding Effectiveness testing
Experience or coursework in Radio Frequency (RF) Theory

Pay & Benefits: Boeing delivers a Total Rewards package that includes competitive base pay and variable compensation opportunities, health and retirement benefits, and related programs. Summary pay range: $165,000 - $194,350.
