Position Overview The Senior Project Manager, SDS manages, leads, and coordinates all aspects of the Synapse MI implementation process from quotation to customer acceptance. Proven ability to act as implementation subject matter expert for one or more Medical Informatics products. Visit: https://www.fujifilm.com/us/en/about/region/careers Job Description Duties and Responsibilities Creates, manages, disseminates, and updates project documents including implementation plans, scope documents, status documents, issues logs, work breakdown structures, task schedules, tests, and acceptance documents. Effectively manage project scope to ensure all project deliverables are completed while preventing unnecessary scope change. Lead, coach, and motivate project team members on a proactive basis. Demonstrate effective use of PMO tools and execution of documented implementation processes. Act as the primary point of contact to the customer throughout the project life cycle. Ensure customer site compliance with environmental requirements; schedule and monitor sub-contract requirements and processes; maintain contact with customers, contractors, and sales to identify delays; monitor site readiness, vendor delivery dates, and installation progress. Maintain close contact with Order Fulfillment to ensure order accuracy and communicate changes that may affect product delivery. Document and drive installation issues and resolve problems; escalate issues as needed. Utilize project management tools and best practices to ensure customer satisfaction. Develop effective business relationships and ensure cross-functional cooperation with Sales, Marketing, Service and Engineering for successful project completion. Maintain travel schedule consistent with position requirements. Adhere to quality and regulatory compliance requirements and perform duties in accordance with policies and procedures. Perform other tasks as assigned by management. Comply with applicable U.S. FDA medical device regulatory requirements, ISO 13485 and other applicable laws and standards. Qualifications University degree or college diploma (AS/BS/BA) or equivalent experience. PMP Certification Eligible or Obtained (preferred). Three or more years’ experience managing Medical Informatics IT projects; experience managing RIS, PACS, VNA and/or CVIS required. Experience coordinating multiple software implementations in parallel. Team player and leader with strong leadership, relationship building, conflict resolution, analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient in the use of project management tools and software packages. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to travel on company business. Physical requirements The position requires the ability to perform the following physical demands and/or have the listed capabilities: The ability to sit 75-100% of applicable work time. The ability to use hands and fingers to feel and manipulate items, including keyboards, up to 100% of applicable work time. The ability to stand, talk, and hear for 75% of applicable work time. The ability to lift and carry up to ten pounds up to 20% of applicable work time. Close Vision: the ability to see clearly at twenty inches or less. Travel Occasional (up to 25%) travel may be required based on business need.
