Project Manager (Residential Construction) Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with a strong track record of leading residential construction projects from initial consultation through completion. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing client relationships, defining scopes of work, overseeing budgets, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and on budget. This role requires a deep understanding of custom residential construction, strong leadership skills, and the ability to balance financial, logistical, and client expectations. Candicates with project management experience, even outside of homebuilding, are encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities

Lead project estimation, material take-offs, and cost management to ensure accurate budgeting and financial oversight. Manage trade partners, suppliers, and vendors while maintaining up-to-date pricing and job start documentation. Oversee construction execution, ensuring work meets quality standards, stays on schedule, and adheres to original plans. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, inspectors, and stakeholders, providing regular updates through project management software. Supervise onsite personnel and coordinate with contractors, architects, engineers, and officials to drive project success. Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience in residential construction project management (custom home experience preferred). Minimum 3 years of experience in construction estimating. Expertise in reading and interpreting construction blueprints, grading plans, and specifications. Strong knowledge of residential construction materials, methods, and best practices. Ability to self-perform material take-offs and accurately estimate project costs. Proficiency with construction management and estimating software. Excellent negotiation, leadership, and communication skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Compensation & Benefits
