The Role We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced

Enterprise Account Executive – Agentic Technology Specialist

to focus on selling Agentic technology solutions (Machine Identity Security, Data Access Security, and Agent Identity Security) into enterprise accounts.

This is an overlay sales role supporting direct sellers . The role drives adoption of these solutions, and candidates should have experience selling across IT stakeholders, ideally with Identity or cybersecurity experience and exposure to agentic technologies, data architecture, or governance technologies.

To excel, the position demands an Account Executive who:

Is curious and can synthesize information rapidly in a dynamic environment

Is a consultative seller who discovers mutual value between business needs and technology solutions

Can engage across IT personas, with experience in Cybersecurity/Identity applications and other Cloud technologies (IaaS, Cloud Data Platforms, etc.)

Develops strong relationships across all levels – from IT executives to individual contributors

Can scale and empower other account resources to deliver positive outcomes

Utilizes analytical tools and data to drive programs and plays

Has worked as a specialist sales executive (overlay, co-prime, etc.) in a dynamic, matrix selling environment

Can demonstrate value of SailPoint's Agentic Technology solutions and relate them to the broader SailPoint product set

Provides a superior customer experience from discovery calls, including competitive positioning and partner services

Develops territory and opportunity plans to progress from discovery to the next sales stages

Builds internal programs to scale the sales organization around the Agentic product set

Works with leadership to refine ideas and optimize sales strategies

Upholds SailPoint’s culture by reflecting our 4I’s values

Responsibilities

Exceed revenue quota goals on a quarterly and yearly basis

Address customer and partner inquiries with accurate information and tailored solutions related to data, AI, and identity intelligence

Strategically engage with customers and partners to maintain high levels of service aligned with SailPoint’s core values

Collaborate with marketing to develop and execute plans targeting the Identity Intelligence market

Pursue leads and ensure internal systems are updated

Lead technical resources to demonstrate SailPoint's advantages

Follow up with customers and partner with the post-sale team to ensure ongoing account coverage and new opportunities

Oversee all aspects of the sales cycle, including qualifying, presentations, demonstrations, and RFP responses

Develop a deep understanding of the territory, including customers, prospects, partners, influencers, and competitors in Identity Intelligence

Understand and communicate product and technology strategies of competitive and complimentary organizations in the SailPoint market space

Engage with stakeholders at all levels, including IT security, AI, data, and enterprise architecture

Utilize forecasting tools and maintain Salesforce hygiene

Internal Enablement: Develop and deliver training to equip Account Executives, Customer Success Managers, and internal teams with Identity Intelligence opportunities

Strategic Account Planning: Collaborate to develop comprehensive strategic account plans

Internal Program Building: Build internal programs to foster collaboration between the Identity Intelligence Specialist team and the broader sales organization

Education Education:

Preferred but not required: Bachelor’s degree or global equivalent in IT, business or sales related field.

Benefits and Compensation Benefits and compensation vary by location and role. This role may be eligible for a corporate bonus plan or role-specific commissions, with potential equity participation. Salary ranges are based on location and other factors. For US-based employees, base salary range is estimated at the following (minimum-midpoint-maximum): $109,200 - $156,000 - $202,800.
