Audio Rx, a trusted provider of audiology services in Los Angeles for 45 years, is looking for a patient focused Audiologist to join their team in Los Angeles, CA.
The ideal candidate will have experience in hearing evaluations, diagnostics, fitting hearing aids, and conducting various auditory tests, including DPOAEs, AEP, OAE, and vestibular testing.
A basic understanding of Spanish is required to effectively serve and deliver high-quality service to their diverse patient population.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive hearing evaluations and diagnostics.
Fit, program, and maintain hearing aids for patients.
Perform Distortion Product Otoacoustic Emissions (DPOAEs), Auditory Evoked Potentials (AEP), and Otoacoustic Emissions (OAE) tests.
Vestibular testing, (VNG's, O-Vemp, C-Vemp)
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Participate in community outreach and education programs to promote hearing health.
Requirements
Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D)
Licensed to practice audiology in the state of California.
Experience conducting a wide range of auditory tests and diagnostics.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Basic understanding of Spanish to communicate with a diverse patient population.
