Shift Days, 8:30 a.m.–5 p.m.
Location AdventHealth Palm Coast – 120 Cypessa Ridge Drive, Palm Coast, FL 32164.
Role Responsibilities
Performs mammographic imaging procedures.
Assists radiologist in the performance of biopsies and other procedures.
Performs X‑ray and DEXA imaging procedures as needed.
Positions, moves, and assists patients.
Obtains patient history.
Performs clerical duties.
Performs basic patient care within scope of practice and to departmental standards.
Adheres to the hospital corporate compliance plan, local, state, and federal regulations, and standards of accrediting bodies.
Value to the Team
Routinely examines requisitions, patient reports, and previous films for awareness of procedural requests, patient condition, history, and special notes.
Performs X‑ray and DEXA imaging procedures as needed.
Demonstrates competency in the selection of proper positioning and technical factors in digital mammography.
Uses accepted ACR/MQSA and departmental standards of positioning and image quality of mammograms.
Knows ACR QA/QC manual and demonstrates ability to perform these tests regularly as required.
Minimum Qualifications
Completion of an accredited radiological technology program.
State license in radiography.
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) – Radiology and Mammography certifications.
