Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Pay and Bonuses

Base pay range: $38.00/hr - $50.00/hr. A signing bonus is available: $5,000 total ($2,500 upon hire and $2,500 after 6 months of employment). To receive the full bonus, you must be a Certified Mammography Technician. What You Will Do

Assist with the optimization and implementation of protocols to enhance image quality Prepare patients for exams; pre-screening, reviewing history forms, gowning, etc. Use proper techniques and positioning to ensure safe, timely, and high-quality diagnostic exams Obtain consents, documentation within EMR, coding and charging Maintain QC program for ACR Perform good safety practices with protection, cleaning of equipment, and sterile techniques Assist in advanced mammography procedures Place/remove IVs when necessary Help maintain mammogram ACR & FDA/MQSA requirements Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Exhibits a passion for serving the needs of others and communicates courteously and effectively with patients Dependable, flexible, and multi-task oriented Team player, able to help others with tasks Communicates professionally both verbally and in writing with physicians, clinic staff, and patients Ability to work independently with a high degree of accuracy and minimal supervision; responsible for independent operation of equipment Works closely with the radiologist and other members of the healthcare team Demonstrates independent judgment when performing procedures and addressing difficult situations Performs on patients of all ages and genders using appropriate protocols and ACR guidelines Performs quality control functions daily, per MQSA recommendations Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Education and Experience

Certified by ARRT or American Registry of Clinical Radiologic Technologists or licensed to perform general radiographic procedures in Utah AND 40 hours of training in mammography and 25 mammography exams under direct supervision of an MQSA qualified individual AND 8 hours of training in using a mammographic modality Experience with breast ultrasound or willingness to learn breast ultrasound; demonstrated proficiency on all equipment; BLS certification Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
