Job Summary Sales Consultant

– Full‑time – Entry level. The Sales Consultant represents SGWS in the market, builds customer relationships, and drives sales revenue through consultative selling.

Primary Responsibilities

Build positive, credible, lasting customer relationships based on trust.

Discover and identify customer business growth needs.

Develop a customer business growth plan for each account and build a pipeline of selling opportunities.

Analyze data and insights to increase sales, grow customer business, and achieve objectives.

Pre‑plan account visits with agenda and sales opportunities documented in CRM.

Prioritize sales activities to achieve objectives based on each customer business growth plan.

Visit accounts regularly, capture visit notes, and build visit plans.

Maintain deep knowledge of SGWS products and present them correctly in each account.

Propose selling solutions using consultative selling skills and win the sale.

Achieve internal SGWS and supplier objectives as prioritized by management.

Manage customer issue resolution and support business growth with useful information.

Adapt selling approach based on customer buying styles and business needs.

Stay current on competitor offerings and SGWS positioning.

Document and maintain account‑specific information in CRM.

Participate in sales meetings, training, and supplier events as required.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

21 years of age or older.

Ability to analyze and understand data and information.

Ability to leverage SGWS technology to perform duties.

Skill in building and structuring customer presentations and product proposals.

Proficient with mobile devices (iPad, smartphone) and online communication.

Consistently achieve results, even under tough circumstances.

Take responsibility for own actions; provide high‑level customer service.

Strong communication skills, clear and concise, tailoring messages to audiences.

Adaptability, openness to change, and innovative mindset.

Team player; collaborative work ethic.

Ability to work in a fast‑paced, results‑driven environment.

Must possess a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and ability to maintain auto liability insurance.

High School Diploma or GED required.

Willingness to travel as needed.

Physical Demands

Sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer or mobile device for extended periods.

Walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, stooping.

Driving throughout the day with segments up to 2 hours.

Possible lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 56 lbs.
