Security Officer - Distribution Site - Overnight Shift

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol logistics and distribution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a strong, visible presence. Your role is crucial in maintaining a secure environment for employees and visitors, while consistently providing exceptional customer service and communication.

Tue: 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM
Wed: 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM
Thur: 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM
Sun: 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM
What You’ll Do
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities
Provide customer service by performing security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner within the logistics and distribution environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols inside the facility and around the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify any potential hazards or issues.
Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and/or site leadership.
Maintain detailed records of patrols, incidents, and security-related interactions as required by site policy.
Support access control measures by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as needed.
Assist with the implementation of security-related protocols and respond to alarms or notifications throughout the location.

Availability across various days and shifts
Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements
A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
