To provide patient care and technical skills in the operation of Interventional Radiology (IR) equipment for diagnostic and evaluation purposes. Acts as a resource for lower level Interventional Radiology Technologists and students. Qualifications
Education/Specialized Training/Licensure:
Must be a graduate of a JRCERT accredited program; Valid MRT license by Texas Medical Board (TMB) required; Certification in Vascular-Interventional Radiography by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) preferred; Current CPR certification. Work Experience:
2 years staff IR Technologist. Equipment Operated:
IR equipment, PACS, RIS and related clinical equipment. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Communication Skills:
Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contact); Writing /Composing (Correspondence/Reports). Other Skills:
Analytical, CRT, Medical Terms, P.C. Advanced Education:
Advance Training/Specialty: Graduated from an approved School of Radiologic Technology; IR Certification. Work Schedule:
