About the Role Sentact is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tableau Developer to join our data analytics team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data visualization, business intelligence, and reporting using Tableau. You will work closely with stakeholders across departments to transform raw data into actionable insights through interactive dashboards and reports.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports that support business decision-making.

Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into effective visualizations.

Optimize existing Tableau workbooks for performance and usability.

Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all reports and dashboards.

Work with data engineers and analysts to access and prepare data from various sources (e.g., SQL databases, cloud platforms).

Document report logic, data sources, and dashboard functionality for end users and technical teams.

Provide training and support to business users on Tableau usage and best practices.

Required Qualifications

2–5 years of experience in Tableau report development.

Proficiency in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server/Online.

Strong SQL skills for data extraction and transformation.

Experience working with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server).

Solid understanding of data visualization principles and dashboard design.

Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, AWS, Azure).

Familiarity with ETL processes and data modeling.

Knowledge of other BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Looker) is a plus.

Tableau certification (Desktop Specialist or higher) is a plus.

Experience working with administrative medical data, including a solid understanding of its origins, common code sets (e.g., ICD, CPT, HCPCS), and the structure of the U.S. healthcare system.
