What You'll Do
Liaison & advocate between CMC and the customer. Communicating changes in pricing, service and current market conditions.
Schedule appointments, meet with potential and existing customers in order to promote CMC products. Determine if there are any other opportunities for sales for other CMC products.
Develop new geographic sales territories and the logistical support structure to serve the territory.
Provide quotes to customers as needed.
Issue sales orders for customer purchase orders.
Attend conference and trade shows to stay current with market information.
Prepare reports for sales and marketing and expense accounts
Maintain customer database and potential leads.
Market the financial, logistical, and customs advantages to conduct business through CMC.
Cultivate lasting relationships with customers to enhance loyalty
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute a strategic resource plan
Understand and navigate market, competitor, and customer dynamics to ensure market share and sales goals are met
What You'll Need
10 years’ experience in distribution operations and/or sales
Minimum 5 years of proven forecasting and customer service skills
Operational knowledge of downstream customer’s manufacturing processes
Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Excellent negotiation and leadership skills
Your Education
Bachelor’s degree in business/marketing or field related to the manufacturing industry preferred
