Directs the Quality Audit, Regulatory Standards and Fuel Technical team within Technical Operations. Accountable for the identification, monitoring and reporting of critical quality and regulatory program objectives to the Managing Director CASS for dissemination to the CASS Review Board and FAA leadership. Conducts system / process evaluations within Technical Operations, external suppliers, and the United Repair Station to measure the performance of United's inspection program including maintenance, preventive maintenance, and alterations. Validates compliance with regulatory and industry standards, assures corrective actions for noncompliance, and identifies opportunities to improve organizational policies, procedures, and processes. Oversees monitoring, incorporation and validation of Airworthiness Directive and other rulemaking activity. Maintains oversight and administration of the Fuel Technical Program including the associated user manual. Responsible for numerous sections of the General Maintenance Manual (GMM) and has oversight responsibility for remaining Technical Operations policy and procedures. Hybrid out of Chicago Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of relevant work experience. Aviation management, engineering, or a related field. Hold an FAA Aircraft and Powerplant (A&P) certificate, with demonstrated experience in line maintenance and /or heavy maintenance operations. 10+ years of related regulatory / quality assurance program experience within FAA part 121 air carrier operations. Hands‑on involvement in auditing, compliance monitoring, and CASS program implementation to ensure continuous airworthiness and regulatory adherence. In‑depth knowledge of FAA part 121 regulations. Ability to develop, implement, and oversee quality assurance strategies that ensure compliance with safety standards and reporting of defects or unairworthy conditions to the FAA. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship. Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification. Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position. Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree or related experience. Advanced certifications such as FAA Aviation Safety Inspector credentials or specialized training in SMS. Experience in major airline environments, including oversight of evaluation programs, hazard identification, risk mitigation, and integration with broader SMS framework under part 121. The base pay range for this role is $155,895.00 to $202,960.00. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long‑term incentive compensation awards.
