The Role We are seeking an experienced

Engineering Manager

to lead the development of the Sync Core. Synchronizer provides native, real-time, bidirectional synchronization between numerous EHR systems of record and NexHealth’s harmonized central database. This foundation enables healthcare innovators to focus on improving patient experiences and outcomes—while we handle the underlying infrastructure.

This is step two in our three-step master plan. You’ll be responsible for raising engineering quality and execution velocity across the organization, making it easier and faster to create and extend Synchronizers. The role involves working closely with multiple engineering teams and product managers to define the next‑generation Synchronizer API offering.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands‑on leader who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is passionate about solving novel, complex challenges. No prior experience in health tech is required.

What You’ll Do

Hire and develop exceptional engineers to build a high‑performing team

Support engineers in their career growth through mentorship, feedback, and leadership development

Uphold high technical standards through sound processes (e.g., architecture reviews, testing) and strong engineering culture

Partner with engineering and product leadership to define and execute long‑term platform roadmaps

Coordinate execution and collaborate across teams to deliver cross‑cutting, high‑impact projects

What You’ll Bring

Proven track record (5+ years) leading engineering teams, including managing managers

Exceptional people leadership skills, with experience coaching both engineers and managers

Deep experience delivering complex, large‑scale infrastructure systems

Strong judgment in balancing engineering velocity with long‑term technical quality

Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to partner effectively across Product, Sales, and Customer Success

Demonstrated ability to define and drive technical and organizational roadmaps

BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

Compensation & Benefits Base Salary Range:

$213,000 – $268,000 USD per year (based on experience and location) Equity:
