LAW FIRM PARTNER

Job Description We are seeking a LAW FIRM PARTNER to become a part of our team! You will represent clients in legal proceedings, draw up legal documents and advise clients on legal transactions. This is an opportunity to join a growing small boutique corporate law firm where you can help grow the practice, bring any clients you may have, receive compensation for them and support to service them. This firm partners with their small & medium size corporate clients to help them achieve their profitability and growth goals. Most clients are on fixed retainers for which the firm basically functions as outside General Counsels and handles all legal matters including civil litigation, contracts, employment, SEC, IP, tax and employee benefits among others.

Responsibilities:

Represent clients in court or before government agencies

Prepare and draft legal documents on behalf of clients

Advise clients on business and legal transactions

Negotiate settlements for legal disputes

Comply with all legal standards and regulations

Qualifications:

Previous experience in law firm environment

Familiarity with various legal documents

Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Ability to build rapport with clients

New business development abilities

Member of Bar

Able to work most days in Manhattan
