Business Operations Director - JLL What this job involves The Business Operations Director serves as the operational backbone of JLL’s property management organization, orchestrating cross‑functional initiatives and driving operational excellence across our portfolio. This strategic role acts as a force multiplier for leadership, providing critical insight while maintaining laser focus on key business priorities. As a trusted advisor, you’ll design and implement standardized processes, lead transformational initiatives, and create frameworks that enhance collaboration and performance tracking. This position offers the opportunity to shape the future of commercial real estate operations while working with cutting‑edge technology and diverse stakeholders to deliver exceptional client outcomes and drive JLL’s continued market leadership.

What your day‑to‑day will look like

Lead strategic planning sessions and facilitate cross‑functional workshops to align property management teams on key initiatives and deliverables

Design and implement portfolio‑wide performance tracking systems and standardized processes for initiative management and knowledge sharing

Act as trusted strategic advisor to leadership, creating workback plans for business activities and providing tactical support for complex decisions

Identify operational inefficiencies and spearhead process improvement initiatives that drive measurable time savings and enhanced performance

Develop communication frameworks for client and team engagement while ensuring accountability for commitments across multiple stakeholders

Serve as subject matter expert for white paper development, collaborating on strategic content and hosting training events for internal teams

Analyze complex data sets to support data‑driven decision‑making and translate insights into clear, actionable narratives for leadership

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, or related field

8+ years of progressive experience in operations management, strategic consulting, or similar leadership roles

Advanced project management expertise with proven ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously

Superior communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to influence without formal authority

Strong analytical capabilities and experience with data‑driven decision‑making processes

Proven track record of building consensus across diverse stakeholders and facilitating cross‑functional collaboration

Exceptional ability to remain calm under pressure and effectively prioritize in fast‑moving, dynamic environments

Preferred Qualifications

Advanced degree (MBA or similar) in Business Administration, Operations, or related discipline

Experience in commercial real estate, property management, or facilities management industry

Proficiency with JLL technologies, CRM systems, and advanced analytics platforms

Previous experience leading organizational change management and process improvement initiatives

Financial literacy and business acumen with understanding of P&L management

Certification in project management (PMP) or process improvement methodologies (Six Sigma, Lean)

Experience developing training programs and knowledge management systems

Estimated Compensation 170,000.00 – 180,000.00 USD per year

Location On‑site – Seattle, WA
