Our client, a dynamic technology leader, is seeking a Principal Cloud Engineer to join their team. As a Principal Cloud Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting innovative cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a passion for mentoring, and excellent communication abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

Location:

Onsite 4 days a week in Greenwood Village, CO; Charlotte, NC; St. Louis, MO

Pay Range:

Competitive, based on experience

What’s the Job?

Work collaboratively with development teams to transition new products into the cloud.

Design, implement, and maintain Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure focusing on operational, security, and compliance aspects.

Create processes for continuous deployment, including orchestration of deployment pipelines.

Develop tools and scripts to enhance the efficiency of operational tasks.

Implement monitoring processes and design/deploy monitoring dashboards to ensure system reliability.

What’s Needed?

7–15 years of demonstrated experience in cloud engineering.

7–10+ years of experience in Linux environments.

1+ year of experience working with GCP.

Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash or Python.

Experience using Git SCM, GitHub, or GitLab.
