Position Responsibilities

Performs basic point-to-point troubleshooting on CCTV, Burglar, Fire, Keyless Access and Intercom equipment.

Responds as directed to emergency and non-emergency life safety system failures, including fire/burglary system outages and alarm calls.

Inspects and coordinates work performed by authorized vendors to ensure projects meet scope of work, project specifications, and guideline requirements.

Conducts interdepartmental training as required on Freezer/Cooler Probe devices as well as perform basic troubleshooting, installation, and configuration of all other life safety devices to include but not limited to surveillance equipment, keyless access components, intercom systems, IP address validations, analog and digital clocks, fire/burg components, and others as required.

Qualifications

Possession of a valid Florida Driver License with no more than 4 points.

Low Voltage license preferred.

Associates degree or 2-year college coursework equivalent is required.

5 years of security Alarm, CCTV, Door ACCESS and fire alarm system experience preferred.
