Location: Westlake, TX (Only). Location also listed as Roanoke, Texas in the description. Job type: Contract. Salary: $62 - 63 per hour. Work hours: 8am to 5pm. Education: Bachelor’s. Responsibilities
Responsible for migrating existing reports to a new platform. Actively participate in release planning, daily stand-up, and assist the team with tactical activities such as PL/SQL, ETL development, maintenance, code review, performance tuning, bug fixes, troubleshooting production incidents, design optimization, etc. Recommend and follow best engineering practices. Build quality solutions that align with the technology blueprint and best practices to solve business problems by driving design, development, and ongoing support. Qualifications
The Skills that are Key to this role Strong in Oracle and PostgreSQL database concepts. Hands-on development in SQL/PL-SQL including performance tuning, writing packages, stored procedures, troubleshooting skills, etc. Hands-on experience developing complex reports in Power BI and OAS. Some exposure to data modeling to contribute to redesigning database objects, especially during performance issues. Hands-on development experience in Informatica PowerCenter. Exposure to Control-M, Source Tree. Knowledge of cloud concepts (AWS/Azure), Snowflake, data lake is preferred. Good to Have
The Skills that are Good to Have for this role Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Good email communication and status call etiquette. Knowledge of cloud concepts, Snowflake, data lake is preferred. Creative, energetic, assertive hands-on professional who adapts to change. Exposure to finance and market domains is preferred.
