Overview Video Editor II

will work within Zebra’s in‑house brand and creative agency, Twenty6 Studios, to bring to life creative video solutions, assisting the Creative Director of Video with all aspects of video production, including not limited to, pre‑production (script and storyboard development), production (video shooting, lighting, and sound), and post‑production (editing). Will collaborate with video team and project managers to ensure standards are met for both live action and animated video. Will troubleshoot video workflow issues and test performance in new applications. The Video Editor II edits in a broad range of styles using a forward‑thinking mindset to stay at the forefront of industry standards.

Responsibilities

Editing projects individually and cooperatively with Twenty6 Studios team

Works on multiple projects, in a fast‑paced, highly collaborative environment, against project timelines to ensure deliverables are produced on time

Performs video post‑production tasks, including reviewing b‑roll footage, audio adjustment, color correction, incorporation of transitions and motion graphics and final editing

Participate in creative conceptualization and collaboration with Twenty6 Studios team

Contributes to on‑site or remote production as a crew for studio or on location: including shooting, lighting, and sound where required

Participates in brainstorming sessions to share new ideas and perspectives

Assist in analytics recapping and content performance evaluation

Properly classify, organize, and archive raw video within established metadata standards

Under regular instruction, manage the posting and distribution of video assets to a common digital asset management system and key stakeholders

Qualifications Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in related field

2+ years of experience with a proven record of producing high quality video content, from concepting to completion, at an agency or production company

Reel or portfolio including examples of work must be submitted for consideration

Preferred Skills and Competencies

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment

Possess a mix of both creative and technical skills

Strong typographic and layout skills

Outstanding organizational, project management, file organization and archiving skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, video equipment, editing software: Adobe Creative Suite, After Effects, Premiere Pro and Audition software

Identifies a rich understanding of our products and brands

Excellent communication, collaboration, problem‑solving, project‑management and time‑management skills

Superior attention to detail

Comfortable working across multiple types of media

Travel Requirements: up to 25%

Hybrid schedule (3 days in office / 2 remote) in Lincolnshire, IL

Salary:

USD 59800.00 - USD 89800.00 Yearly

Salary offered will vary depending on your location, job‑related skills, knowledge, and experience. Additionally, all Zebra roles are eligible for cash incentive programs. For example, sales roles have additional opportunity to earn substantial variable compensation tied to quota achievement. In most other roles, the Zebra annual cash incentive program links Company and individual performance together. Some roles may also be eligible for long‑term incentive equity awards.
