About the Role Jack Laurie Group is expanding our footprint in new home construction, and we’re looking for a driven Sales Specialist to build and grow relationships with home builders across Indiana. This role is responsible for securing new business, expanding market share, and building long-term partnerships with production, semi-custom, and custom home builders.

This is a hunter-focused sales role for someone who thrives on winning new business and building strong trade relationships in the residential construction world.

What You’ll Do

Drive new business development with home builders and residential developers

Grow market share in new construction communities throughout Indiana

Build strong relationships with purchasing teams, construction managers, and division leadership

Manage bid opportunities and participate in builder programs

Conduct job site visits, subdivision walkthroughs, and model home meetings

Partner with estimating and project teams to deliver accurate proposals

Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements

Monitor competitor activity and construction trends across Indiana

Track leads, bids, and pipeline activity through CRM

What You Bring

5+ years of B2B sales experience required

Experience selling into new home construction or building materials preferred

Strong understanding of builder purchasing cycles and bid processes

Proven ability to hunt, close, and grow territories

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

Driven, competitive, and goal-oriented work style

CRM pipeline management experience

Valid driver’s license and ability to travel statewide
