Your Role As Catering & Sales Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind our event business—selling, promoting, and coordinating our outdoor venue and food & beverage offerings. You’ll work closely with a small, collaborative team to deliver exceptional service and unforgettable experiences.

Responsibilities Sales

Develop and execute a strategic group sales and marketing plan to grow event revenue

Prospect new leads through cold calls, networking, and online research

Conduct site tours and build lasting relationships with clients and vendors

Customize contracts, banquet event orders (BEOs), wedding timelines, and chef’s orders

Maintain image libraries and secure usage rights for event photos

Collaborate with hotel and restaurant teams to align event offerings with business goals

Event Catering and Coordination

Use Caterease software to manage event logistics

Plan and oversee tastings, rentals, and food/beverage orders

Attend and manage events, ensuring smooth execution and guest satisfaction

Collect feedback and vendor info post‑event to refine future experiences

Team Leadership & Operations

Provide restaurant management coverage on designated days

Communicate event details to staff and oversee execution

Track performance metrics and contribute to revenue strategy

Maintain catering supplies and staffing levels in coordination with HR

Represent the Inn positively to guests, clients, and the community

What You Bring

AA degree or higher in communications, marketing, or equivalent experience

1+ years in hospitality sales

2+ years in catering and event coordination

Strong customer service and problem‑solving skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Suite, social media platforms

Ability to manage budgets, timelines, and multiple projects under pressure

Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
