Project Architect

As a Project Architect you will research, program, plan, design, and administer building projects for clients across industries such as data centers, commercial, and advanced manufacturing. You will apply architectural design knowledge, work on zoning, building codes, building systems, and materials. You will also mentor junior professionals and collaborate with engineering leads.
This is a hybrid all‑US location opportunity, allowing candidates to work remotely and report into a local Jacobs office for meetings.
Our team is actively working on advanced technology facilities supporting the development of Open AI and other critical facilities.
Base pay range $74,700.00/yr - $98,025.00/yr
Here’s what you’ll need
Bachelor in Architecture from an accredited Architectural Program
5 years of professional experience, including strong Revit skills
Professional Architectural License and the ability to be licensed in multiple states
Demonstrated program experience in the usage of AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and Adobe suite
Extensive experience with building codes and other regulations required
Understanding of scopes of work, developing budgets, and reviewing schedules
Ability to work well across multiple teams and lead small architectural teams
Ability to travel to project sites in the US
Ideally, you’ll also have
Masters in Architecture
Experience with designing advanced facilities (Data Centers, Life Science or other Industrial Facilities that also include office environments)
Participation in professional organizations
LEED AP credentials
