is seeking a highly motivated and experienced

Cloud Engineer

to design and deliver innovative, secure, and compliant Google Cloud solutions for U.S. Public Sector, Department of Defense, and National Security clients. This position will be a hybrid role based out of Herndon, VA. Responsibilities

Architect and implement secure, scalable, and high‑performing Google Cloud solutions that align with client requirements and government security standards (FedRAMP, NIST). Develop and deploy full‑stack applications, APIs, and microservices using modern programming languages and frameworks on GCP. Design and optimize data pipelines, data warehouses, and analytics solutions using GCP services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Dataproc, and Cloud AI/ML platforms. Ensure all solutions adhere to stringent security protocols, compliance frameworks, and government regulations applicable to public‑sector, DoD, and National Security clients. Implement and manage infrastructure using IaC tools (Terraform, Cloud Deployment Manager) for consistency, repeatability, and automation. Establish and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, deployment, and release management on GCP. Collaborate with clients, project managers, and cross‑functional teams to understand requirements, provide technical guidance, and ensure successful project delivery. Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues; optimize cloud resources for cost efficiency and performance. Stay abreast of the latest Google Cloud technologies, industry trends, and security best practices, advocating for appropriate adoption. Required Qualifications

B.A. or B.S. in Information Security, Computer Science, or related discipline. 2+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering. 2+ years of experience in Full‑Stack Development. 2+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Data Science. Proficiency with core Google Cloud services (Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, Cloud Functions, VPC, Cloud IAM, Cloud Operations). Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Cloud Deployment Manager) and CI/CD pipelines. Excellent problem‑solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences. U.S. citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance. Preferred Qualifications

Google Cloud Professional Certification (Professional Cloud Architect, Professional Data Engineer, Professional Cloud Developer). Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes/GKE). Experience with agile development methodologies. Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and advanced threat detection in cloud environments. The salary range for this position is estimated to be between $150,000.00 and $200,000.00, commensurate with experience and technical skillset. We are proud to be an EEO/AA employer.
