Position Summary CVS Health is looking for a dynamic and driven Staff Data Engineer - to implement data & db based solutions for large modernization program. In this role, reporting directly to Executive Director, Solution Engineering you will be working across multiple engineering teams to drive the delivery of our pharmacy products focused on helping people live healthier lives. You should have the ability to prioritize well, communicate clearly, have a consistent track record of delivery and excellent software engineering skills. A successful candidate will be a highly motivated, collaborative individual; motivated to achieve results in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
7+ years of professional experience
5+ years of professional experience in Database Technologies - Oracle, Mongo, Redis
5+ years of professional experience in Data Integration Technologies like Goldengate or Equivalent Technologies
3+ years experience in Cloud Database Technologies - Spanner, BigQuery, AzureSQL or Equivalent Technologies
2+ years of Datamodel of OLTP & Datawarehouse - Ability to Understand Requirements, Datamodels to create Pipelines
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in building and deploying services using Gradle, Maven, Jenkins, GitHubActions etc. as part of CI/CD process
Unit test various Data Integration pipelines.
Knowledge of ETL products and working on Structure and Unstructured data
Certification in Cloud Administration/Data Engineer
Certification as Cloud Architect
Experience in Data Engineering skills for writing Data Pipelines using Dataflow or Python or Azure Datafactory
Experience working in Google Cloud Platform
Experience with Datawarehouse Databases - BigQuery
Experience in Python or Java
Certification in Cloud Architect
Education Bachelor’s degree or, equivalent experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience)
Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $106,605.00 - $260,590.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
